I've been asking for this very crate for almost 2 years now. Zos hasn't returned it since.

but... then again according to the "list" the Nightfall crate and Dark Chivalry crate is supposed to be next on the returning crown crate rotation.

as have I. we will know on the June Crown store showcase very soon. if it doesn't come out in June then very likely July.

Nightfall Crates were last around Aug to Sep 2022 so come Aug this year it will have been 2 years, which seems to be the running waiting time for returning crates, so they should make an appearance then.

If they are now brining back two crates a month (as seems to have been the case this year) then perhaps we will see them before then, which only leaves June/July, though I think Sunken Trove will be the next to return (have yet to make a return and were last around in June 2022).

Having said that the Frost Atronach Crates took 2 years and 3 months to make a return. So it's not a given.

Some nice stuff in those Nightfall crates though

Yeah, Sunken Trove and Nightfall could probably be the next coming up in July.
I would expect Dark Chivalry in August.
And hopefully Stonelore will come by November during High Isle + Galen celebration...

I wanted nightfall crates to return because that 2,500 Gem mount with the red tornado summoning animation was so cool but let’s just say idc about those crates anymore and I’m really looking forward to the diamond crates 😉

Side note:
I have 1800 gems, how many more 15 packs of crates will I need to get to 2500?

Ugh, that’s one of the more obnoxious mount summons, but I don’t think that one comes with the Nightfall crates. I thought it was from a season that already returned this year, but I could be mistaken.

Ahhh, I see, I was confusing it with the Harrowstorm bear, which isn’t even from crates (but was a gem exclusive).

The mount looks cool, but the summoning is way too much for my taste, but most radiant apex and many apex aren’t to my taste either — beauty, and BISness, are in the eye of the beholder.

Anyway, I hope you get the mount you’re wanting soon!

Even as someone totally disinterested in Nightfall crates (Sunken Trove for me*), this is still really nice to see! Hope those folks finally get their things.

*Very strange that they're missing given the typical return dates and all the other sea-themed stuff this month!

I'm just guessing but usually we got 1 crate comeback every month except for new releases' months when we got 0 comebacks.

This year it seems they've upped their game by giving us 2 crate comebacks every month except for new releases' months when we are getting 1 comeback.

If this will stay true whole year, they already improved and I don't expect a further improvement In the near future, maybe much later on.

I have passed word to our team on the request for Nightfall crates. Don't have an ETA to confirm at the moment. But it won't be an immediate change. Some crate stuff is already planned out can cannot move at this point. So you will need to have some patience here. Just the nature of the beast in game dev. Some stuff has to be locked in ahead of time.

it seems the nightfall crate wont be in June otherwise they would of changed the crown store showcase by now.

As far as I can recall, they’ve never changed the showcase. There have been unannounced events and sales, but I don’t think that crates have ever returned without prior announcement.

I would expect them in July, I’m hoping with one of the crate seasons I’ve been waiting for.

there was a case a rather long time ago where crown store items just pop into the store without notice...

I wish Kevin would give us more info as it has been a few days already... but I guess he's not gonna bother with this case anymore.

I would think he would tell us to wait longer because he was not notified yet by the Dev team about these crates... not sure why ZOS has to work so slow with adding something to the crown store. surely its as simple as just adding a stock on the shelf in a store?

I don’t think that Kevin can tell us anything more, anymore than he — or anyone else at ZOS — would be at liberty to tell us what will be in the showcase next month. We have been told that the request has been passed on to the dev team and I believe that is all we can ask for at this time.

This is also what I believe is being said in the follow-up post — the team is aware of the request, but planned sales/item available are unlikely to change (maybe even cannot be), and we aren’t going to be told ahead of time when the crates will be available, but must be patient.

I think it might be Sunken Trove in July. Might have to wait until August (which will be the two year wait mark any how for it to return).

Dwarven was such an odd choice to have return so soon though when other crates have been away for far longer.

Should just be put on an automatic rotation with a doubling of crates returning monthly.
