All the time for no reason. Not engaged in a fighting or a siege, simply riding or walking, sometimes just standing. I came to conclusion that been kicked from Cyro is in fact a feature, considering the lack of interest on the issue...

Yes, the lag, rubberbanding, and desynchronization is at an all time high. We were actually getting chat input lag in PC/NA Gray Host, which is a new level of dysfunction. Crashed several times on a good connection, none of my other apps were affected. Getting a lot harder to get back in, too, with the "Lost Lobby Connection," "An Unexpected Error Has Occurred," "Unable To Connect To Server," "Booted From Server," "You Have Been Placed In A Queue," etcetera. And then when able to get back in, am either spawned back at the base away from the ticks, or placed back into PvE to restart the waiting period.
    RIP Bosmer Nation. 4/4/14 - 2/25/19.

I also noticed that the pop cap Queue is just flying by tonight compared to the usual waiting period. That means an unusual amount of players are crashing/being kicked.

Exactly the same thing that's been happening to me. Connection is strong in all other areas, but keep getting booted form Cyro and then having a helluva time logging back in. Even happened this morning (Sunday morning EST) when things were relatively quiet in Cyro (Gray Host NA).

Are the server hamsters coming up on retirement, maybe? Time to bring in the jacked up guinea pigs to take over?

FWIW I have 140 ping (according to the game widget) and do not have any of these issues. PC-NA.

Almost everyone has this issue from day 1. I remember there is brief period game really good and looked very promising.
Microsoft has no interest on this game. Game literally on life support. Slow death. Full of hackers in cyrodil. One person literally teleported half way across keep. I think he forgot to tune down speed/teleport hack. Also I see symptoms of DDOS attacks.

Some are saying that certain groups are deliberately lag switching to gain an advantage, meaning doing a certain set of actions that is known to cause localized desynchronization. We know for a fact that this happens, as ZOS just recently patched a chat script that was being used to crash people out in Cyrodiil.

Were you around the hammer, or any ball groups? Because if so, I'd love to hear your setup. Maybe we can learn something to avoid these issues.

The technical term for it would be "lag machining". Basically, using systems in the game that send events to all nearby players to cause either massive lag in the networking infrastructure or to cause an undue amount of calculation strain on the gameplay server itself. This is technique has been around since the beginning.

Anyway, I haven't been kicked from Cyrodiil but nonstop in other PvE zones my client will crash at random. I've taken to sitting in my house in offline mode with the chat window disabled just to ensure that I can even make it into Cyrodiil. Once I'm in I stay in offline mode and disable all but the most vital chats.

Lag on the otherhand has been bad. It was constantly going up over time yesterday. In the morning it was the normal 120-150 ping for me. By the evening it was averaging 700 and regularly going well over 2k.

Thank you for the suggestions and responses all, and thanks for the link @ZOS_Bill! I will test it out next time I am experiencing this issue. It seems to have cooled down for the most part, but I still periodically get weird connection "episodes" in Cyro.
