I've just claimed the free house-guest "Necrom Guard Miraso", placed him in my home and interacted with him. I get the dialogue text but no actual spoken dialogue. Looks like the sound files are bugged. The other free house-guest, "Alchemy", works just fine.
Most houseguests not tagged as talkative have a short line or too. Are there subtitles for the “sample lines”? When previewing, I thought Miraso was meant to not say anything but just perform different actions — even less responsive than “Remains-Silent”! Maybe a vow of silence? Or is it a bug?
Edit: I see after placing her that she is indeed supposed to have several short lines of dialogue that are currently not voiced.
Interestingly enough she's not tagged as "talkative" in the collections menu.
She is just tagged as "houseguest" like one of the other free houseguest Keldora.
Unlike Alchemy who is tagged as "talkative"
Yes, we got two types of houseguests. Talkative doesn't mean they are the only ones that talk, but that they got a lot more lines and dialogue. The ones without it got just a few short greetings. Like how Keldora says "Hello there". They are still voiced lines.
Same here. Either the no audio is a bug, or the text replies are. I'm more inclined to think the no voice is the bug. If she's supposed to be mute, it doesn't make sense to have full text replies instead of something like "<Miraso stares at you in silence.>" or some-such.
I have her guarding a section of books in my library deemed potentially dangerous. She takes quiet in the library a bit far, but is very diligent in her duties.
