Can Ithelia change future games?

I'm still uncertain what exactly she is the Prince of. "Roads not traveled" doesn't make sense to me yet. It seems their biggest threat is that her and her followers can't be seen by fate, but does she actually have the ability to rewrite what has/will happen? Not necessarily a paradox like a dragon-break, but still some sort of paradox where she rewrites the future, and thus have an effect on the other games?

Without that ability, the story being a prequel feels really anticlimactic because we know nothing will happen or be impactful.

    Ithelia is Auriel.

Nah, jokes aside, my guess is that the entire reason she got locked away and forgotten was because she is sort of an anti-Akatosh in a way. Where his sphere of influence is regarding time (fate already written before it comes to pass), Ithelia being the Prince of Fate means she has power over the possibilities that can happen. This makes her intrinsically connected with Akatosh but she's probably more powerful: not just because she's a Daedra (meaning she didn't sacrifice her essence to create Mundus), but because her sphere of influence allows her to influence events before they happen and she probably has at least some capacity to determine which potential events occur and when they come to pass.

    All just my speculation, however.

What isn't my speculation is the in-game book, The Nine Coruscations. It's a bit of a cryptic read but I definitely recommend running through it a few times as it's setting up some absolutely monumental new lore.

Not the same one that's ruined the Avenger films I hope.

There’s specific dialogue where she says she can’t change Fate, just walk the Paths. She seems to be able to rewrite things but it’s probably just by connecting/disconnecting Paths together instead of making new ones. I don’t know, it seems like a contradiction.

    Gold Road spoilers:
She won’t affect future games anyways. ZOS did what we expected and removed her from our plane of existence again. So if Ithelia came back it’d have to be an alternate universe Ithelia and there’s no point in her coming over here.
