Healing in PvP

ZOS, can you please address healing in PvP.

Here we are in another Deathmatch BG weekend, which should be a super fun event, but it's just full of supergodmode tankhealers and nobody ever dies. The majority of my games so far have gone the full 15min, many of which no team even cleared 100 points. This is ridiculous, it's supposed to be DEATHmatch am I right?

Healing is also too incentivized in the medal system, where healers regularly achieve 2-3x the medal score of DD's due to crit burst heals. So not only is healing/tanking too strong in PvP, you have active incentives for people to play that way to abuse the leaderboard system.

There are many workable solutions for the game at large, but the best band aid fix would just be to slash 3rd party heals by 50% via Battle Spirit. Heck, it might even help tone down ball groups and make Cyrodiil fun again too.

Please, let's get this figured out.

    Best idea i heard for sometime, via battle spirit 50% additional reduction for external heals, would be so good to do. Most unkillable situations is because of to much healing that then only bombs can solve its getting boring i want to fight again....

    Hell yeah. I'd go further. Let's have a weekend event where it's self heal only DM.

    50% reduced healing from others would be cool for sure. Nuke polar wind too.

    Yea. Undeath passive is the main culprit for ppl not dying in pvp. There is no mystery here. It needs a hefty nerf and ofc healing is somewhat overtuned on many casses.

    When I quit around 2019, Undeath scaled to 50% mitigation and players were less survivable with it than they are now with a nerfed Undeath.

    So Undeath isn't the reason. It's all the other changes they've made.

    Hybridization is one factor. It took away the trade-off from Tri-glyphs which are now a no-brainer to use, essentially giving everyone more health with no drawbacks. It also gave all builds access to all heals.

    Hybridization, power creep and CP 3.0 also made resource management trivial.

    Class homogenization and armor changes also play a role. They removed a lot of trade-offs.

    I am sure there are countless other factors. I'm definitely not an expert on the current meta or on how we got to this point, but it wasn't close to this bad a few years ago and it goes much deeper than Undeath.
