Is it possible to let NA keep PTS for week 3, or rotate NA back in for week 5/6?

I know the standard idea is for NA to get PTS for weeks 1 and 2 of a patch, and then rotate EU in for the next 4 weeks of the PTS cycle and the long haul beyond.

Putting aside that that is a bit unbalanced between servers, the PTS issue this week essentially locked a portion of NA testers out of using the PTS with their main accounts until Thursday at the earliest, meaning that if any of the locked accounts want to test with their main accounts and characters, they will only have a few says to do so... and that's assuming we do get our accounts back on Thursday.

Would it be possible to allow NA's copy to keep the PTS for a bit longer this cycle so that those with locked accounts will be able to test with their main accounts instead of having to build everything from a template?

Honnestly they should have 3 week each. The rotation at week 3 made sence back when pts was 4 week but now its 5 and sometime 6 week so it would make more sence to rotate at week 3

This is also unfortunate for those of us who do housing on NA:

I sometimes wondered why PC EU seemed to have more of a presence in the housing community and contests (objectively, often making up the majority of entries) and if that had to do with differences in our work culture/free time. But I didn't know about the PTC cycles until recently. EU has so much more time to test their builds, with all of their own items unlocked.


I've been wanting to test some builds forever since it's been months(??) since PTS was NA. But I was locked out for a bit, still grinding Jubilee with the extension, and too exhausted by it to build now.

There is nothing stopping you from using PTS with template characters. It's cool to use your own, and maybe saves a little time, but once you get up and running you're good to go.

Would it be cool? Sure, but it's probably the least of their concerns right now.

Yes, but see above, we explained the reasons this doesn't suffice. There are things NA-mains can't get on EU, at all or not enough to properly test.

Since so much has been thrown off in the past couple of weeks, especially for anyone locked out, it would be nice if this could also be adjusted. But I respect that they currently have more pertinent issues, yes.
