Day 28 and still about 90 items in three guilds haven't sold even when they are much lower than the average or last item sold. Hopefully ZOS maintain the current listing timer.

Have there been any comments on what is going to happen with existing in game emails? I sincerely hope that when we log in on Monday after the patch that all the emails that were older than 14 days (but not yet 30 days old) haven't suddenly disappeared...

Based on what happened with the inadvertent PTS/Live "merger" and subsequent account freezes and rollbacks, I wouldn't be surprised by anything at this point. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. Personally, I'll be clearing my mailbox right before the patch.

I actually spent earlier today clearing my inbox of anything I care about. I still remember when they "fixed" expiring leads and anyone who had any that were older than the expiry date just vanished.

If they're intending to do that and haven't at all communicated it to the wider player base... so much for communication either way...

The only time I have unopened mail is when I first log in and my crafting mails are there, and mail from whatever I've sold on the trader overnight. The rest of the time I open and deal with mail as I get it.

I really don't understand what mail is being held on to.

So when faced with near universally negative feedback and seeking more clarification on the explanations being given, ZOS once again chose, once again, to simply forget about all their promises of more communication and left us on read while they moved full steam ahead.

For all the repeated talk about how much our feedback matters, it never feels it.

@ZOS_Kevin ... A bit late, but I did not notice this right away.

A UX suggestion for future consideration. When the behavior of the game changes significantly and adoption of the change can be turned on or off, the default setting should align with the old behavior of the game. This is especially for returning players. Depending on the new feature, the default for new players can be whatever is deemed most prudent.

The setting to automatically delete mail after claim should have been turned off for returning players, until they turned it on.

This is prudent for maintaining a positive user experience. Habits that players have may conflict with new behavior. People may not be aware of the new feature and perform tasks in the game out of habit. People may take the attachments and then read the mail in more detail, out of prior behavioral habits. Yes, people can adjust to an auto-delete, or turn off the auto-delete, but adjusting behavior and settings is best done after the initial encounter with the feature, not at the same time.
