Years ago I had subscribed to ESO+ and after a month, I had gifting unlocked. Since then, I haven't gifted and let my subscription expire. A month ago I resubscribed to ESO+ and attempted to gift something to a friend and got a popup that said, "Gifting Locked... Your account has not unlocked the ability to send gifts from the crown store". Wut? I inquired using the request to have gifting enabled, and here is the response:
Greetings,
We regret to inform you that we are unable to fulfill your request to activate Gifting on your account.
Your account must show consistent game play activity and/or be active in an in-game ESO community prior to submitting your application to be considered for eligibility to participate in the ESO gifting program.
If you wish to appeal this decision or if there is anything else that we can assist you with please let us know by replying back to this ticket.
If you would like to provide feedback regarding the Gifting in The Elder Scrolls Online you can do so here: Feedback and Suggestions about ESO

I spend an inordinate time in game, upwards of 12 hours a day. Yes, I don't have a life.. but still. Umm, am I supposed to spend more time in game? How much more? In any case, I responded that I spend a lot of time in game.. that was about 3 weeks ago. Do I go through that original request to re-enable hoping for a different outcome? Thank you!
Edit: Oops, it would help to have that reference number...

PS. Yes, the item I was going to gift left the crown store a couple days after the original request.. I decided to use TCE.. not all was lost.. but wouldn't mind the ability to gift again.
Edit: Thank you, ZOS Support, I can gift again!
XOXOXO
