Looking for sexy female outfits to craft

In beta, I found a Medium Armor chestpiece as a quest reward, and since it was better protection than I had and came with a nice enchantment, my (female) Heavy Armor wearer put it on anyway.

It wound up being some sort of black sleeveless top that looked like something an assassin would wear. Though it only showed bare arms, it was in fact very sexy. Sadly I don't remember what it was called, I've not seen its like since, and that same quest (12ish Daggerfall side) gave me a staff on Live. :(

So yeah, sexy is definitely a possibility in the game. Just depends on how you define it. I'm expecting more of this type of gear when the DBh and Thieves Guild expansion(s) come out.

Those of you talking about realism to understand that most of the helmet and shoulder designs in this game would get you killed in real life right? As in shoulder plates that curve upward and helmets with fancy horns/ornaments/etc would actually make it easier for an opponent to land a hit on you. Such designs were strictly ceremonial in real life.

A lot of the armor designs seen in this game and most RPGs would be nothing but a liability to wear into a real wartime scenario. Yet only skimpy designs ever have the "realism" card played against them. After all, the people playing that card couldn't care less if their preferred armor style would be impractical in real life, as long its looks cool to them <_<

As long as there is a robust option to dress in concealing gear some of you prudish types are actually the ones due for some serious growing up. Get off your high horse.

On topic the game could use some designs similar to the fur/forsworn designs in Skyrim. Nice, unisex, skin showing barbarian armor. Just as it could use a few heavy chest pieces without molded boobs to appeal to the opposite camp of thought.
2h weapons impossibly large to wield? Sure! Tight, creaky leather that inexplicably improves your stealthiness? Absolutely! Absurd, liability prone plate designs? So long as they're concealing and no molded chest then A-ok! Skimpy armor? THAT'S UNREALISTIC! <_<

Spells or not, that magical war isn't protecting 100% against arrow, or a the force of a greatsword, just because you want to take arrow directly to the chest or midriff doesn't mean I do.

It is. The reason you can't wear V10 armor at any level below that is because you haven't figured out how to master the magic.

    ;p

It's a game. Not real. We can make up any reason we like for why the bikini armor is heavy armor.

Honestly I am sick of my characters looking like some wierd fantasy *** actors, as a female myself I really do prefer my characters to look like they can take an arrow or two rather than Princess Leia in her slave costume (many men's wet dream I know but not something you are going to charge into war wearing unless your sole intention is distract your enemy)!

Besides it is more than possible to look sexy without showing excessive skin, and unless it's Zenimax's intention to create player housing with associated cyber red light district then I really think it's refreshing to finally play a game where I actually look like combat ready soldier rather than a candy coloured stripper with metal underpants.

But I suppose it's all about opinions and options if looking "sexy" in a game is peoples prerogative. As long as I can still maintain some realism.

    Why can't we have both?

I don't see the problem - you want to get all suited up, fine. Go right ahead - but your decisions for your characters shouldn't affect mine.

I think you skipped the last sentence of my post, but it's okay, selective reading is the best way to validate an argument.

Anyway, the whole argument about options is moot, as there are already options for showing more skin, typically in the form of costumes. For example at vr 6 you get:

    Dark-Seducer-Female.png

    VR2:

    eso-golden-saint-costume-vr-2.jpg

Not sure if people want to show more skin than that, if so then guild wars 2 is still free to play!

    Ele_render.jpg

    Oh, very nice!

Sorry about missing your last sentence. And thanks for the tips ;)

I think if we all put our rational adult pants on, we can see the difference between boob windows, midriffs, and thongs on heavy armor pieces, and shoulder plates that slightly bend upwards.

You mean one style that wouldn't work and get you killed in real life verus another style that wouldn't work and get you killed in real life?

All I am pointing out is folks in this debate couldn't care less about realism in gear until it backs up their anti-skimpy armor agenda. And quit pretending your preference for conservative gear makes you more adult, as it just proves the opposite.

I wasn't insinuating that my taste in gear makes me more mature in that particular sentence.

You're completely wrong about my stance on "sexy" gear making me the immature one. And you're wrong about it being a "conservative" stance. You're also wrong in assuming that I wouldn't be for more realistic armor across the board, because I totally would be. You're pretty much wrong about everything.

The fact that there is magic in this game totally throws all arguments about realism out of window completely. Weapons can be enchanted as well as armor. Hell there is even jewelry enchants that give you resistances. So if I want an enchanted thong then I should have it.

Magic isn't going to stop a blade from cutting you in half, you have magic thongs, you're just looking in the wrong game for them, there's plenty of games out there that fit your tastes go play one of those and let us have our realistic armors. Tera sounds like it'd be right up your alley.

I think the Seducer and Golden saint armors are fine and wouldn't mind seeing more like that, except seducer, seducer goes over the top a little with the nearly fully exposed chest, but hey, it's called seducer for a reason. This is what I don't want to see, I'll quit on the spot the moment something like this makes it's way in game.ShadowyExecutionerarmorbias-1.jpg

Then of course because of the Witch Elf armor you refused to play Warhammer Online. Based off your above post that is the only reason why you would stop playing Warhammer Online the second you ran into a Witch Elf

There is a spell called Bound Armor that disagrees with you...which covers me in a full suit of magic armor. Which could just as easily be invisible as it is visible (I actually wish it was invisible because it's fugly).

I love this constant thing about armor... You know... Because a rope protects SO much against a piercing arrow (it doesn't matter if the rope is sexy or is a nun's dress). But anyway... I can dress my mage with a bikini. When I go to battle I have a certain spell... You know... Called BOUND ARMOR that gives to my mage a COMPLETE PLATE ARMOR that suddenly appears.

Someone with that spell, capable of putting on herself a full plate armor with a word, it can go adventuring dressed as a normal citizen, with some expensive silk dress, with shorts, dressed like a nun of like a ***.

A Nightblade... Someone that can complete disappear in middle of a battle... A Dragonknight who can put a complete full magma based protection or turn skin into stone, or a templar, capable of healing any bound with a single gesture... Why in the name of hell has any of those characters has to wear a full plate armor? Something not only uncofortable as hell (I don't if anyone here has tried a full plate armor, but I do, I can't even stay on my food) but very hard to mantain, specially in the middle of nowhere, where adventuring usually takes place.

No one is asking here for a bikini plate a la red Sonja, but something with colour, perhaps, some variations... Even the forsworn dresses (in Skyrim, you remember those?) or even Alexia in Morrowind... Remember her?

Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

I too was born with a vagine and I too would like something sexy to wear. I stubbled across this thread in search of such items. However, I would prefer to not have to wait until I am veteran level anything to make that happen. Just a thought. maybe even offer something hot in the crown store? I mean why not I have already spent quite a few real dollars on things. Ladies want ladies options! :)

Same here. I'm a grown woman, and I get that skimpy armor won't offer much protection against damage. But I'm intelligent, so I also get that no amount of armor will protect you against magical weapons, spells, and attacks. I have a weapon that has, literally, "unresistable" damage. It doesn't matter how many layers of armor you wear, you're taking that same amount of damage from that as a naked dude or chick.

And saying "I'm going to quit playing if other people get to wear the skimpy armor that they want" is flat-out childish. There's nothing wrong with it--if what it takes to break the realism of the werewolf/vampire/spells/spirits/etc. -filled game for you is a chainmail bikini, so be it. You shouldn't play something you can't enjoy. But it's still petty. (Also, what is this obsession so many anti-skimpy-clothes people have with touching themselves? They bring it up over and over. I don't know anyone who does this, but they seem to think it's all EVERYONE does. Quit projecting?)

A simple solution, in my opinion, would be style with built-in panels (like the orc linen chest) that could be colored to match a character's skintone for a skimpier look, or colored another color for obvious coverage. Really, that would pretty much have to stop all the griping--every character would be equally clothed and covered, it just wouldn't be as obvious in some cases because of the chosen dyes. I would be happy having my character look like she's enjoying the feel of the fresh Skyrim breezes on her bare flesh in some places, and other people would be happy that they are safe from bug bites and voyeurs. And we'd all be equally safe from arrows.
