Option to allow out of date addons?

I just installed a lot of addons and none are working, I checked in game and it said most of them are (disabled). I went back to the main menu and went to addons and there is NO option for me anywhere to click to allow out of date addons like there used to be? I tried looking through all the settings as well and can't find anything. Was this moved or is there a new way to enable out of date addons?

Anything that's disabled is disabled for another reason, not just being out of date. You couldn't find the option anymore because zos essentially just changed the behavior of the game to load addons regardless of if they're tagged as up to date.
The most common reason for me to find several disabled is when an old library has been split into multiple ones, of which I only have some. Look at the dependencies for your disabled addons.

in most cases addons being disabled is due to them missing some dependency (either another addon, or library)

they removed the option a long time ago for "allow out of date addons" because it was frankly annoying, just because an addon is out of date does not necessarily mean it wont work (if the addon is broken it will usually give UI errors)

Problem solved, if anyone in the future has this issue I for some reason had to uncheck everything, reload the game and rechecked everything and they seemed to work fine after that.
