oak ring and back bar?

The ring says you cannot swap weapons.

So what if you have skills that passively do something on the back bar which is permanently inactive, and still wear the ring? (and can't switch weapon) For example the U41 Siphoning Strikes for NB? Does it work?

Or Minor Expedition from concealed weapon?

"passive slot" stuff on the disabled bar is also disabled and does not provide its effects (any more)

The Oakensoul ring already provides many of those buffs so that you can have one bar of only five skills you’ll use instead of a mix on one or both bars.

You can :

Equip Merciless Resolve on both bars
Give 5 light attack hits
Remove the Merciless Resolve of the front bar while keeping the 300 WD/SD

Bound armaments is useless without ability to actually fire the daggers, bound aegis (and base ability bound armor I guess) was the problem there.
