All spells gone in maze-minigame in IA

When entering the minigame, I found myself without spells. I wonder if that is intended or not (maybe players found something to skip the maze somehow). But usually I have my major expedition slotted for that, because sometimes it's getting very close.

I got my spells back, once I left the minigame again.

I noticed this as well, it does feel like they lengthened the amount of time you have to cross to compensate however.
I suspect that the issue was probably the arcanist portal and vamp teleport allowing a partial skip here.
