Tracking Leads

I am going back and trying to get all of the antiquities. When I got to The Reach, and again in Blackwood and I assume Deadlands as well, I have a lot of hidden entries, but when I look online I actually have everything listed. Do some of the leads that are parts of larger items not register when you find them?

for multi-part antiquities, it doesnt reveal what the whole thing is until you get all of the leads for it at least once

if on PC you can more easily track leads using the "display leads with location info" addon which allows you to see all leads in the game, where to get them, and track which ones you have never found at least once yet

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

I understand that, but looking at the zone list, and comparing to lists online, I have all of the items in newer zones but there is still a long list of hidden entries. In some zones there are 8-10 hidden entries but I’ve found everything listed online. I’m not sure why those are still there.

thats why i suggested the addon, the default UI is horrible to look through regarding antiquities and i only use it because thats the only way to "start" a scry lol

if you cant use the addon (due to being on console) then theres no real easy way to tell what you are missing

if you can use the addon, you can use one of the filters to filter down to each zone (based on where the lead is dug up) and another filter to specifically leads you have not dug out yet

what i usually do to check which ones im missing (never dug out), i just use the filter to check what i havent dug out, across all zones (which at this point is literally only treasure map leads lol)

You mention the Reach and Blackwood. Out of curiosity, have you found all of the ancient motifs in those regions? The Reach has ancestral Reach, and Blackwood has ancestral Akaviri.

Also, some zones have had leads added to them in subsequent updates. They might not have been listed together with the leads from initial release. I remember finding a lead for a Khajiiti well that was released in U40 and I dug it up in Southern Elsweyr.

The motifs might be the answer. I know I’m missing Ancestral Breton, I’ll have to check the others.

    Thanks.
