Managing Multiple Accounts with Different Addon Preferences on the Same PC?

I run two accounts on the same PC, one is mine and the other belongs to someone else. I use addons, but the other person doesn't like addons. Is there an easy way to solve this without deleting/restoring the addons folder?

add a separate user on the actual pc, the settings and addons are local to the user in the documents folder.

Oh, that's even worse. Then rename\restore addons folder.

Save this code in a text file with a ".bat" extension, such as "rename_folder_auto.bat".

I run five accounts on the same PC and each, once set, has their own addon loadout without any direct changes from me. Now if you install a new addon it will automatically be enabled for any account that logs in but it's easy enough to disable from the character select screen. If you open any of the addon lua files you'll see that there are sections that are specfic to characters and accounts.

This is where you can disable addons for an account. Just have them click on and set it to off.

Agree with what has been suggested here - multiple Windows Users is the cleanest way I know of.

Create a new Windows User i.e. "ESOPlayer2"

Left-click the launcher (as always) to log in your primary account.

To log in your second account, make sure the Launcher is closed and then SHIFT+Right-click the Launcher and choose "Run As Different User" and login to Windows using the Windows credentials of ESOPlayer2.

This will keep ALL Addon data seperate for the accounts. (be careful not to log in the wrong user on the wrong Windows acct. To keep this true - I check the "Remember my name" box to help).

I try to stay away from data-intensive addons (such as Master Merchant) on my secondary accounts, especially if they're in large trading guilds (your PC specs will factor in here).

If the other person does not like addons, can't they just disable them inside their client? Addons are active based on client, character, and server.
