Skingrad comparison 2E 582 vs 3E 433

In the time of The Elder Scrolls Online, Skingrad seems quite different from what we experienced in TES IV.

The Hightown district is missing! Currently occupied by vines.

The Chapel district seems more stretched towards the west. No doubt to compensate for the absence of the Hightown district.

The structure of the castle is very faithful (with the chapel) to what we knew in TES IV. However, access looks quite different.
Access to the castle does not seem to be possible from the location of the vineyards. However, it appears that there is direct access to the castle from the south gate, next to the chapel of Julianos.

I don't know where the Golden Road runs. In the CGI representation of Skingrad, a river appears to replace the Golden Road that runs through the city's two districts in TES IV.

Exquisite detail in your analysis. It is possible that the river was slowly driven underground over the centuries not unlike many of the tributaries from Old London that once fed into the Thames from aboveground.

Personally though im quite curious as to what Ayleid ruins will make it into the zone. Naturally i assume that we'll get Miscarrand and Talwinque due to their proximity to Skingrad but things get sketcher depending on how far things will stretch into Hammerfell proper.

Yes. We will have a lot of Ayleid ruins. Particularly in Colovian Highlands.
I'm curious to see the new unpublished structures mentioned by ZOS.

From the images seen during the Global Reveal, this is what I think Skingrad is in ESO.

I don't think the Valenwood overgrowth has actually reached Skingrad, but is its own area along the southern border of the zone.

In all the town has remained remarkably stable between ESO and Oblivion, if you consider the geological upheaval that has clearly taken place.
Please stop making requests for game features. ZOS have enough bad ideas as it is!

I don't mention Dawnwood at any point.

Dawnwood does not reach Skingrad. It is mainly present between Varen Wall and approximately Istirus.
