Maelstrom Arena Weapons: Got That One!

I finished my first vMA during event and both perfect weapons were ones already un my COLLECTION. Is this a bug?

Did you run normal a lot over the last day or so? Because they just fixed a bug where it was dropping Perfected gear.

No I ran a full veteran MA. Both drops were already in my collectables

Did you check them after looting them? Since it’s a solo arena, they bind the instant you get them. That can make it hard to tell whether you had them already unless you keep careful track beforehand.

Yep, there were no big green NOT COLLECTED letters or exclamation marks in sets/collectables.

Pretty sure "first vMA during event" kinda says first time since event started, not first ever run.

He can also have finished first vMA run while event is active

I'm not just having that problem with MA, other daily reward boxes are popping out set pieces I already have.

It was NOT my first vMA, I only have a few pieces left to collect so it was easy to notice.

The items auto-bind the moment they hit your inventory.

There will be no indication from addons or other means to show they weren't collected before when you view them in your bags.

What daily reward boxes specifically? Not every type of coffer is curated.

I had a similar problem with the sets that drop from MA, Hunt leader, Para Bellum and the others. The game was dropping set pieces that I had already discovered while my "stickerbook" still had empty slots. At least in the end I got 50/50 drop on arena weapons meaning half where already discovered while the second drop helped fill.

Same here. I can't count the number of times I've run Maelstrom. All Maelstrom weapons collected, most Perfected collected. However the garbage gear sets that drop with every arena are not more than 70% done with one or two around 50%. I keep getting the same junk pieces.

You probably need weapons, which only drop from final chest. So you will get body pieces you already have from first 8 arenas. Curation only works if the items you need are in the loot table and weapons (not just "Maelstrom weapons", but all set gear weapons) are only in the loot table of final chest.
