What actually ruins the game is the THOUSANDS of Vampires using Sea-Serpent's Coil bypassing the snare at mist form in PVP.
THAT IS THE DEFINISION OF AN EXPLOIT and RUINING THE GAME as it affects the rest of the players who are not vampires, and their accounts should be banned en masse, including all the Youtubers who push that exploit.

Fail to see how this is an “exploit.” It’s a workaround at most. You can also use Stampede when snared, Shield assault, toppling charge, etc. Are those exploits too?

No bans or actions are being implemented for this. No one should worry about that for this issue.

If you hadn't come to this forum, would you have known? No. Neither myself.
There are millions of people playing ESO, do you see them in the forums? No.

So how's that an abuse? For the outright significant majority of the player base that was a feature due to the running event and the discussions in 4 guilds was exactly that. During the event nMA drops Perf weapons. That is all.

Everything else is know to those 10-20 read this discussion, the rest of the millions have no idea.

Well any person that actually read what they loot would understand, i mean its quite easy.

Also, they once forgot an xp boost in the imperial city sewr after testing cp 2.0 , many people got banned that day

Well, issue is fixed, official word that no action will be taken against those who got anything from it while it was up. We can all move on and just enjoy the event now.

Workaround? Hahaha

It is an EXPLOIT that the designers did not thought about it. An exploit that affects other players, contrary to Perf Weapons dropping from nMA who doesn't affect anyone.

No bans or punishment, just demote the perfected rewards to regular. No one gets unwarranted loot, and those of us that refrained from the exploit don't feel punished for having a conscience. Simple.

I learned about it through guild. Then another and another... all 5 of mine guild knew about this... and I don't doubt that even more guilds knew. People came to forum to learned if it's bug or event. And if they will be banned.

The people who were legitimately just doing the event who don't read chat all day long shouldn't be punished. Now if someone who ran it over 20x in an hour then that's a different story.

Sure. Just as long as they replace the "regular" weapons that were originally obtained in VMA with the perfected version, then that is fair.

It's insulting. They made us farm VMA once for our gear, then chose to screw us over and make us re-farm it again when they introduced perfected versions for vet and regular for normal. Complete and utter disrespect of vet players' time.

To be honest I don't have a problem at all if somebody is (was) getting perfected gear for a normal run. But of course I can understand all players like @Jack-0 they had to do the MA and VMA many many times and because there was no stickerbook some years ago they had to do it again for another toon.

OT: I'm pretty surprised how fast they can react and give us a hotfix. Because in this thread here:

I wish it would be possible to do even 4 times an hour. Alas, the pauses between rounds and stages, and the cooldown between finishing it and when you get a new instance make it impossible.

It really ruins the game if everyone can get bis gear with minimum effort. It is not fair to those who put all the effort in the past to be able to beat the harder content to gain better loot.

I never understood the concept of because I suffered everyone else should too.

If it’s a glitch yeah fix it but if they made changes they did it for a reason.

They didn’t have to worry about that. Everyone already knew about it and ran the arena as many times they could that day to fill their stickerbook. It was in zone chat, guild chat, even on our discord. If anything only one weapon should be allowed because once you got a perfected drop it should have been obvious that it was a bug.

Depending on the issue we will tackle notification differently. In this case, we did not want to notify before knowing everything was fixed. That way, more people did not try to take advantage of the issue while we worked on a fix. But we definitely appreciate the sentiment of wanting to know as soon as things are being worked on.

I guess it bothers me because it does not make any sense to me, but I will get over it.
Anyway, I’m glad it was fixed. Hopefully the related bugs can be resolved quickly as well.

I apparently already completed 8 Ticket weekly endeavor. We get 2 tickets a day and today is Wednesday...


Seems there are more messed up things in event reward logic.

This thread inspired me to do a VMA. Only completed one long ago. Several normal. Even at my best , I am just never going to be a great player. Somehow I managed to complete it! Don't get me wrong their was a lot of screaming and gnashing of teeth..from m lol. Score was trash also.lol so if I can do it anyone can. My only complaints are that I had one perfected weapon from before, a resto staff. This time I got the sword and board. Que the music from price is right when you loose.So either my RNG is that bad or this is intended to keep you coming back.?

I completed my first vMA this week. Took me two days and had to do all sorts of messing with gear, skills and CP to finish it. Not to mention actually learning the mechanics.

I wanted destruction staff but got axe, shield and bow. So will have to go again if I want the staff. The axe was also nirnhoned, which I didn't even know dropped from there, and that is a huge incentive to go back for me.

Going to try again before the event ends for sure.

20 times in an hour would def be a feat. Impossible to do. Takes on average 30 minutes to complete. If you skip the chests and dialogue it can be done in about 24 minutes.
