Returning player, few question of current play

On off since beta, attempt to play on 300ms. Last time this game made me hate mmorpg so much that I played RTS and city builder instead.

Lag mostly seems gone which is nice. Skills still don't go off due to people being out of range because of ping. Kind of expected they wouldn't help melee out like Reach does for ranged. I also noticed I can crit rush upwards which is nice. Being a stamblade and executing people with Impale is an absolute joke haha.

Anyway, if there is, what is the counter for:
Insanity that is full healing from under 20% hp by holding block and waltzing off into the distance.
Killing anything that has over 40k hp before stam runs out. Not gank, just kill them in general.
For NA players, does cloak even work? I've tried dodge into cloak.
It feels like dodge is useless for my ping, does it still work? I don't see many people using it like the old days.
Skills that follow you through walls and around corners, is desync still a major problem? Is ping just the deciding factor now?
Why are ranged and blockers so fast? I got 23% base and still get out run. Do I need steed+3x Swift+wild hunt?
Am I being out buffed. Is direct damage wrong to run? Should I use dot to beat mitigations?

In bg it was initially fun but after 1 week I feel I'm in too high mmr rating for my ping. I was doing decent damage. I got 6.2k wpn/spl and 15.6k pen. But hit like a wet noodle to targets not even blocking or are even in cc. Do I need more pen, wpn or both?

    Just save your self the headache, make a Dragon knight or a warden and you can indestructible. In pvp it can take up to 15 -20 players to take down a single warden or dragon knight. Right now in pvp everyone has to run the same few classes built exactly the same way, the remaining I really want to play my way base is being destroyed and rapidly evaporating.

    If the developers don't reverse course hard and fast, i see pvp being non existing by year end. It will look like imperial city, mostly dead with perhaps 15 minutes of fighting between 5 to 12 people, and that's for the whole zone.

    Lag looks to still be here. Some examples:
    • When the game registers you as dead. your health/magika/stamina will go to 0 but you will still be able to run around. Skills will not go off.
    • Spells that "hit" you will travel through a wall and kill you if you had low enough health.
    • People breaking free and instantly dodging. It didn't look like Glorious Defender set since I didn't get bashed.
    • Break free not registering.

    As a stamblade, you should probably get Balorgh to get the needed weapon damage and pen. Even so, the tankier classes will still probably be out of reach/unkillable in a 1v1 brawler type fight. Better to wait until they are lower health and have less defensives up, and then just burst them with Incap + Grim Focus, with an execute follow up if possible.

    Swift, or moving faster in general, appears better in Cyrodiil with its wide open spaces. You can probably do ok with less speed in BG's. Just need to take advantage of terrain and line of sight. A line of sight object to hide behind to prevent damage is generally needed anyway. In my limited experience, most stamblade builds can't straight up fight a brawler build.

    I've noticed it's DK city like the old days.

    If I play in NA prime I see that I'm dead but can still run off then this fireball comes through the wall. Also pretty funny seeing a dk leap in wrong direction because I've crit rushed off in my screen. Spend my ult. Do no damage, spent ult and die. But I feel most of the time lag isn't bad like it used to be.

    I'm always test out someone to see if I can gank. Been just hanging off till a team-mate takes their opening damage then go in. Sorcs still cross map 360 no scope me through 7 people.

    Guess I'll give balorgh a shot. See if it make any noticeable difference.

    More people have realized PVP is more fun when you're not dead, and thus have been building tankier.

    This is sort of a mytsery because you have 40k HP tower humpers with endless heals who still do a decent burst damage and, and, and "ALWAYS" can outrun you.

    I routinely get out run even wearing 2X swift and celerity (=24% boost).

    For NB, A couple reasons:

    1) Concealed weapon. Not only is this a decent spammable, AND sets players Off Balance, AND gives 10% increased damage, it ALSO gives you FREE 15% speed boost . This is equivalent to an entire mythic buff (wild hunt).

    2) Refreshing Path: Not only does it give you Major expedition (30% speed buff), AND boost Mag.sta recovery, it ALSO gives you a HOT. This is part of why NB are so tanky these days (and so hard to catch).

    IN general NB skills are loaded with extras, eg the strongest damage in the game (spectral bow) , just for light attacking, that ALSO gives you 300 free weapon damage, AND a 50% heal from your 20k spectral bow hit. And of course cloak, one of the strongest abilities in the game, gives free crit, gives 300 free weapon damage...AND just for slotting 12% increase crit chance on both bars! But I digress

    Now, how do the wardens humpers outrun you all the time, I am not sure
