Guild Trader Bugged -- Can't Be Hired??

My guild has had the same guild trader for over a year, but this week when we "lost bid" I went over to bid for next week and nobody seemed to own him. No tabard, no store, nothing. Only "bid" or "hire trader" options. So I clicked on "hire trader" and I got a message that the trader was already hired. What gives? We need our trader back! Help??

Sometimes traders bug out like that where they look available but are actually not. If the game gives you that error, you cannot hire them. The game let you know that you lost the bid to another guild, so it is not your trader this week.

Unfortunately you will need to find an (actually) open trader if you want one this week. If there are none, it is a matter of waiting until next week to try to get one again.

Yep, this is in an outlaw's refuge.
