This little guy's entire purpose in life is to rot and get squished. Please, if possible, make it so that it is not a viable target for Damage Shields like Ward Ally.

Sorc pets and companions used to drop dead instantly in IA. ZOS changed it to make them much sturdier, but I swear it affected the little skeever guy, too! I feel like he used to die much faster and be available to do damage much more often.

it has a self dot that deals about 954 dmg per sec to itself and is oblivion dmg which ignores dmg shields

in most cases now, it takes approx 20 sec for the self dot to kill it, as most enemies dont deal a lot of dmg to npc allies anymore (there are a few enemies it does still die easily against though)

Why not? Isn't it awesome, if you have a "tank" on later arcs, who can distract heavy hitting stuff for a few seconds?

Thank you for the input. I realize that the Skeever has a self dot. I pointed out in my first post that it's purpose is to rot and die, that's what a self dot does. I have not seen it perform as a tank so I can't say if it's awesome, regardless, it would still be nice if the skeever did not take one of the shields from the Ward Ally ability.
