Failed to Summon X Companion when changing zones

I think I narrowed this down to involving Werewolf Packleader, this only seems to happen with my Werewolf characters who have Packleader morph. I think something with the summoned wolves is causing this issue.

Yep, it's Werewolf related. Going into an instance as a Packleader Werewolf removes Werewolf form and it's for some reason applying a summoning issue to your current active companion when changing instance/zone.

The temporary fix I found is to summon your companion, then summon an assistant like a banker or merchant, port to inside a home, logout/login, then walk out of the home. This fix will work until the next time you decide to go Werewolf.

I keep trying different things to figure out what causes the failure of summoning companions when changing zones or instances, and it keeps coming up with a weird problem. Currently the problem appears to be Restoring Aura, but it's not just that it also seems to hate my combination of slotted champion point stars. The weird thing is I have the same combination on two other Templars with a slight difference and they're not experiencing the same issue.

I take off Restoring Aura/Repentance and the summoning works fine, the moment I slot the ability it starts failing to summon the companion when changing zones. I reset my champion points and started slotting them individually, it works fine until I fill up the green tree.

    I have:
Steed's Blessing, Treasure Hunter, Master Gatherer, Plentiful Harvest
Enlivening Overflow, Thaumaturge, Wrathful Strikes, Untamed Aggression
Sustained by Suffering, Rejuvenation, Strategic Reserve, Bloody Renewal / Siphoning Spells

Something about this combo with Restoring Aura/Repentance and maybe Werewolf is causing my issue. I'm using a similar combo with 2 other Templars, but they don't have Werewolf. For now running without Restoring Aura/Repentance seems to fix the issue.

This is weird and I can't figure out why.

Alright, I'm at a complete loss. Right now its only happening with that one Templar character and no one else; all the other Werewolf characters aren't getting this problem anymore, it just fixed itself on them. I'm thinking there's too many condition checks when entering a new area and that companion summoning is low on priority so the game aborts summoning them and I have to do it manually every time I go to a new zone.

The temp fix in the first post no longer works, don't know why. Now I have to go Werewolf then port to a home, walk out, the companion summons works normally and will stay active when changing zones/instances with no problem until the next time the game closes and I have to do it all over again.

Also Werewolf is failing to cast about 20-25% of the time, it will attempt to transform but then nothing, I end up staying in my humanoid form and unable to Bar Swap. Ultimate can still build up, but if I use Werewolf when Ultimate is ready it will consume all the charge and "revert" me from Humanoid back to Humanoid and can Bar Swap again.

There’s addons that “fix” this issue for pc players. But i didn’t read everything so idk if you mentioned your platform.
