if you dont have improved visions i think its only like 5%
for something like caltrops, which if your using razor caltrops being a 10 sec duration, 6% increase of that would result in less than 1 second of extra duration (0.6 sec extra duration) which wouldnt even add another tick of dmg
for something like trap being 20 sec dot, that would only add 1.2 sec per stack, which also is still less than 1 tick of dmg (being 2 sec tick rate)
im not sure how it would interract with hurricane, such as if the hurricane is its own effect or attached to the major resolve buff (which gets extended from something like extended favor), but with a 2 sec tick rate it would have to add more than 2 seconds in order for it to generate another tick worth of dmg
this is one of those visions that needs some serious buffing in order to make it useful, barbed trap for example gets buffed by the vision lasting harm which extends single target dots by 12% (non-upgraded visions is 10%)
many of these visions are ones which need to get buffed, as their effect is so small it is almost negligible (such as in this case 1 stack of persistent pain for example does not even add enough duration to add another tick of dmg to the dot)

I was thinking the same, that you need enough extra time for extra ticks for it to update tooltip, so i took another one, i got 12% increased duration now, still is 10/20 sec tooltips.
I also took an Extended Favor now, increasing buff durations by 62%, that worked on Hurricane duration.
i know they had updated the tooltip for the other dot one (lasting harm) to specifically mention it only affects single target dots (sticky dots) so it doesnt affect ground based dots
the fact that one isnt boosting either caltrops (aoe) or trap (sticky dot) it possibly could be a bug with those, but i usually avoid taking those as most characters im running in there do magic dmg, and the bonus is so weak and awful its not worth it (i would rather get the ones that boost crit chance/crit dmg of either martial or magic dmg)
it sounds like the hurricane dot is attached to the major resolve effect that you get, which makes sense why extended favor works on that

Tried to edit my post, but was too slow, it only extanded the buff duration, but damage still lasts 20 sec, so that vision seem to work as expected.

i think this same thing works like the arcanist cruxweaver armor then, where the bonus effect of the crux armor only lasts 30 sec, but the major resolve can be extended by the extended favor
ill have to take a look at it the next time im using a stam character in the archive, but as i noted in my other post i usually ignore the +duration ones (outside of extended favor) because the buff is just too small to really do anything
