WHEA-Logger ID 18 - Replicable Error in Elder Scrolls Online only

I am receiving the following Windows error while playing ESO, and only while playing ESO:

A fatal hardware error has occurred.

Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Machine Check Exception
Error Type: Cache Hierarchy Error
Processor APIC ID: 5 (A number from 0-11)

Event ID 18

This error hard crashes and automatically restarts my PC. There is a corresponding ESO crash event for each ID 18 event.

The error occurs most commonly when doing the following:
-Teleporting to a new zone/activating a door to a new zone
-Running OBS and recording gameplay

The error seems to have to do with power spiking during load screens, but I'm not sure what the specific cause is.

I would recommend trying to repair the game client via the steps in this article. If that doesn't resolve the issue, then please open a ticket with our support team so they can take a more in-depth look at any logs or files that were generated by this. You can do so here.
