Ya. Probably going to add a section in the OP for 'newest additions' and their sections. Making a point to try and buy each book off of the Filer, though there's about three I don't have access to via Eidetic yet (Fynboar is going to especially be hard because Archive runs are required to find its missing pages).

Completing the Archive side quests for “Fynboar the Resurrected” lets you read the book in the Index. Otherwise, if you’d like to read it to unlock it, send me a message in game.

I just ran across this thread. I happen to be preparing my own public library for the PCNA server, so funny I'm just running across this. Mine is a WIP at the moment and not ready for viewing at this time. I'm missing a few books, and like you, I need a couple hew's bane ones. Iirc, the next event coming up on Thursday will be dropping plenty of hew's bane maps, so hoping both of us can get those last couple zone ones. ^^

Also, I thought that too. Turns out in the OP the 'cog' appears next to the title of the thread, when you click 'edit' it lets you edit both the title and the body of the OP.

I just found out myself a couple of weeks ago when I made a big oopsie in the OP and I was frantically trying to edit it to strike it through.

They actually still do drop, I got one a couple of months ago. It came from Cyrodiil Gladiator daily coffer.
Needless to say, chances are slim. It is the only one I got out of ~1k coffers.
They do pop up on traders from time to time, camp TTC and you might get one.

damn, 1k coffers? o.O thats crazy! ive seen you selling some of the hews bane treasure maps. Was able to buy one for 350 gold lately but you have to be hella fast ^^

...also I fixed two mistakes. Can't believe I counted Trials of Eyevea twice and forgot the Coldharbour treasure map journals. They're both 4 books each so the exact number stayed the same but yeesh.

ive got all the books from the chests too, took me over 210 maps to get them all, alone 71 in coldharbour o.O

Also havent collected any of the Scriveners Hall or Endless Archive, gotta find the Eidetic Memory Books first i guess. Also havent attempted EA yet, dont feel like visiting soon. But you can also do it on your own so you dont have to look for EA runs particularly.

Many of the Archive books can be discovered within the index and wings of the Archive, and you don’t have to get far to discover the books and get the drops.

This list should contain every single rare drop from the game to that point.

There are a number of additional books from the Infinite Archive (see a list posted earlier in this thread for books from the Archive, Bastion Nymic, and Scrivener’s Hall, although one from NE is misattributed). While some indeed need to be unlocked in Apocrypha overland and elsewhere, I can think of at least seven unlocked within the Archive itself. Plus, each week one book from Scrivener’s Hall has been available for purchase for archival currency.

@Lazy_Voyager With the event, hew's bane maps are dropping en masse. This is the perfect time to finish your collection of hew's bane books. Also, if you're having trouble picking up a specific copy of one of the books, I recommend going on a different toon, picking up just that one lore book out of the three, and then looting chests on that toon until a book drops, which is what I had to do. Best of luck!!

Guess, what... GOT A FULL RUN TODAY NETCHESSSSSSSS. All the treasure map books are done in the library~

Logging to alts and picking up only undiscovered books in eidetic absolutely works; took about 3 chests per book.

I'm doing a similar library over in XBox NA. The inventory is a real challenge... if you take the Mage's Guild Lorebooks, Lessons of Vivec, Truth in Sequence, and all the new books, you're looking at 476 furnishings so far. Plus I have to imagine more book furnishings are coming in the new year.

I'm at the point now where I'm holding on to a couple book boxes, because I'm unwilling to take out non-book furnishings just to make room for the books.

Same issue. I only have about 100 slots to play around with in Kelesanrhun (600 slots total) after all the books. Considering moving to a Notable house for an extra 100, but none of them really "feel" like a library to me the same way Kelesan does. They're not cheap either.

Been tossing around the idea of using the Markarth house, but Reachmen aren't really known for the love of bookstores; seems clashy.

Also have the sailing ship house and a floating library might be neat as a novelty, but seems like it would be hard to furnish well enough to be worth it.

Try building something completely yourself with 200 slots. You can use Bookshelves as walls and put the collected books in the empty spots in them. Use Big bookshelves like high isle, leyawiin or alinor ones.

Been working on something similar for some time now, but with a Dark Brotherhood theme....I've got ALL the readables, except Scrivener's Hall (17/21) and Infinite Archive (64/65)...alphabetical order by group, too. PC/NA @IrishJoe. Feel free to add me; it's currently set to my main. Have all the remaining books in my Eidetic memory and will be able to buy them when they come to the IA shop.

Does anyone happen to have readable copies of Thwarting the Daedra: Dagon's Cult, Glorious Upheaval, and Havocrel: Strangers from Oblivion? I THINK those are the last three books I need to read in order for them to be added to the loot tables or for me to be able to buy them at the IA vendor if they come up. I've been looking for the first two on Imperial City and Cyrodiil bookshelves forever, and I think the last one is found in the Rock Grove trial. I wonder why at least the first two cannot be found lying somewhere in the game like the other lorebooks?

I visit your house periodically to ooh and ahh! (and added some BN books to my eidetic memory in case I ever lose my marbles and farm that place again. I got one of the five books from there to drop so far. Ugh).

I'm using Linchal for my library as the house is relatively small in size but still 700 slots so I'll be able to put a lot of books in it while still hopefully getting to decorate the house a bit to make it look full.

And I'm always down to run IA, I have a tanky build for that has gotten me almost to the end of Arc 6 as I am working on getting all the books from there (I have about 40 of them checked off on my spreadsheet).

The Sharper Tongue: A Jel Primer is currently available in the crown store in the Deepmire Expedition furnishing pack.

The Law of Gears is still available in the crown store, but it has 3 days left.

Thwarting the Daedra: Dagon’s Cult can be found in IC on PCNA now for those still looking to read it. It’s in one of the bookcases directly below the AD spawn point in the Temple District.

I thought the bookshelf spawns were not the same between accounts?

That is a good place to look, though. There are 5 bookshelves in that area, and it's right next to the Temple Rectory, which is a PVP-free safehaven that has 8 bookshelves. I got Thwarting the Daedra a couple of weeks ago, as well as The Year 2920, Volumes 26 & 27 which I was also missing. Still waiting on Glorious Upheaval to appear. I check those once a week.
