Most of 12men Trial 5 piece gear have similar effect limitation. just like "only for the Arena, Group dungeon, or 12men Trial".
Or against monster enemy only.

Just I felt effect limitation is so much narrow, and not for the general purpose.
So, collecting Trial gear is meaningless for the general purpose(ex solo trial, PVP)?

That particular bonus only applies in arenas, dungeons, and trials. Not PvP. Not overland (world bosses, incursions, etc.)
Strangely, I don’t think the Endless Archive counts as an arena, unless that was changed in the last patch. It seems to me like it should be classified as one.

There are a lot of trial sets with varying effects.
I would not say that no trial sets have use in solo builds or PVP.
PVP builds vary a lot, and there are certainly some builds where some trial gear is very useful. For example, recently there were a lot of complaints about Relequen (drop from cloud rest trial) being too strong in PVP.
A set like Master Architect (drop from halls of fabrication trial) is very useful in 4 man dungeon groups.

Interesting that you describe solo trials (arenas?) and PVP as "general purpose", but trials are not "general purpose". If you are a player who likes to do trials all the time, then trial gear could be considered general purpose.

However, if you don't want to do trials, only solo and PVP, then you can certainly do well without doing any trials.

There are several sets that organized pvp groups can make use of. Pillager's Profit is by far the one I see being used most often as the ultimate this provides to the group is essential in a pvp raid spec. In the past groups have made use of Pearlescent Ward, and it may still see some use occasionally but most of the time we don't have enough room to fit it in over more valuable sets. Olorime has seen usage in the past although it is easier to use SPC for major courage when the group is constantly moving. At one point I had a raid lead considering making me farm Claw of Yolnahkriin for its buff in pvp though ultimately we went in another direction (thankfully lol).

Most organized Cyrodiil groups primarily use dungeon and arena sets though. Pillager's is the only one that sees heavy usage. You really don't consistently see any of the others in groups of any kind.

This thread is encouraging. As a PvE WB and group dungeon hunter (mostly solo, some duo, small amount of 4 player), I don't even know how to spell tryals. Good to hear reinforcement of my thinking that I'm not missing much gear-wise by avoiding tryals. Sounds too much like herding cats for me. Lol.
