PvP in ESO

Good morning/afternoon/evening ladies, gentlemen, gentlewomen, they/them,

I see a lot of negativity surrounding the PvP in ESO and I thought I would come with some positivity.

From the age of 10 to about 18 I played Dark Age of Camelot but I quit and focused on my career. During my time I searched for a good PvP game - I tried Elden Ring, Diablo, GW2 and some others... When I joined ESO I applied for a guild called The Storm Age and these lads helped me like you would not believe. A great bunch of lads who have likely turned in to long-term friends.

Regarding the PvP - Yeah it has some bugs, some crashes, and the downtime really annoys me but the game is absolutely brilliant. I feel like I am reliving my youth of DAoC but I am older and uglier. Furthermore, I'm absolutely dog sh!t at PvP and I spend most of my time face down in the dirt getting tea bagged but I am learning every single day.

The PvP is brilliant and I am HOOKED. Perhaps this is because I have only been playing for 4-5 months? Regardless of this, I am addicted. The community is very welcoming (so far) and they are accommodating to my noob questions, which is an absolute breath of fresh air when you have played Diablo 4 for approximately 5 minutes.

I'm running a magplar - Deadly, Wretched, Markyn, Balorgh.

A special shout out to Redoran Guard (EP) also for their help.

Finally, if anybody could give me any advice on grinding some CP's I'd appreciate it. I generally use heartland conquerors set with training traits and run BRP but holy moly this is mind numbing.

NB - Somebody tell Papachico to leave me alone ffs.

Good day.

The other XP grinds are mind numbing too, Alik'r Dolmens and Spellscar. Make sure you are using an xp scroll too

    Good day.

you can p2w xp by acquiring gold through crown exchange and then buying up alchemy/enchanting(2-5 ticket) writs and handing those in, its potentially faster than BRP but still fairly boring, rather costly too.

I would break up the boring parts with Random Daily Battlegrounds. Your first win (1st or 2nd place) gives you a big double experience boost, once per day for each character. Same for daily Tribute and daily random dungeon.

Might even be worth leveling a another character to 50 to do battlegrounds on 2 different characters—but I'm someone who likes playing every class.

The rest of my advice is not the fastest experience-per-minute farm, but advice to get experience without getting burnt out.

I find resetting BRP to be a headache. Instead I like to run a whole nDSA, and invite a guildie who needs exp. Plus, you get Master's Weapons. For nDSA, you want Heartland Conqueror, but you don't need it for the other content I mentioned, as Training only buffs monster kill exp, not quest or dailt rewards.

You can also work on Vateshran or Maelstrom to farm the weapons and achievements.

Also, Endless Archive is a fun challenge! Low-medium experience gain while getting cool rewards and some PvP gear for DKs, Nightblades, Necromancer, and Arcanist.

    Thanks all.

I’m basically running round and applying 50% or 100% experience scrolls all the time. I’m doing dailies on 5 characters which seems to really help. CP’s will come in time, although I was surprised at how little experience I gained from Cyrodil, however, this was my own inexperienced perception of what I was going to expect.

Other than that, great game, great PvP, and a great community. If you see me on my Templar… let’s go.

    what's your cp level now?

it usually takes about 600 to 800 cp before you can compete with some of the players in excess of 2000 cp...
