Reporting Bots?

Not sure where to post this, but there is a bot farm location in Shadowfen, Directly east of Percolating Mire. They're using a spot in the terrain that unloads all players and enemies to remove all aggro and reset their path.

Don't know if they're on other platforms, but this is on X1NA Server.

I suggest you report them in the game. You have to get close enough to them so that the player interaction wheel can be opened, then you can report them. Has to be done individually, for each character you suspect of being a bot.

A dead giveaway on Xbox is viewing the gamertag. If the status is set to "Logging In" it's a bot. Some weird program they use that lets them bypass the usual checks.

I've never sure what options to pick for a bot train. There isn't a category for that or just general bots...

Maybe "bad actions" for the main category and then "scamming" for the subcategory? Or whatever the wording is. Then give a more precise description of what you think the player is guilty of in the text box.

"Cheating" or "Other" should be ok to use categories when sending in a report for bots.

Bots are everywhere in this game on xbox. Having reported hundreds in the past and no feedback or apparent action taken over the last 9 years, I for one have given up reporting them.

You shouldn’t expect to get feedback when reporting bad actors. You’ve alerted ZOS and further actions are between ZOS and the reported account.

I was in need today for some crafting supplies on Xbox NA to help the poor downtrodden Imperials and dang! I didn't find the crafting component I wanted (Regulus) but I found enough bots farming near me that I started to wish they were a crafting component. Think of all the starving, cold, orphans that I would be able to make stuff for if I could just use bots as a crafting ingredient!


In the end, I just logged out and let the bots be off on their own without me watching. Reporting them on XBox is a pain, and not at all rewarding, so I assume ZOS can handle them without my help.
