Only time I dont chase it is if I get the bugged MOL boss so that I can try and burn him down

I swear one of these days I will wipe in a really embarrassing way because I'm chasing after that lil scamp rather than paying attention to the boss

Same here. Whenever I see it, my run partner and I ignore the boss and focus on the scamp. Doesn't matter the boss, the loot gremlin is going down!

To add to everything mentioned, furnishing plans include up to golden quality and it also drops consumable collectibles need for achievements, like Unreliable archive maps or disgusting spoils.

I know what to do with him, I was just wondering if that's all. I mean, given that there is an achievement for nailing him 5 times, much like for all side things, could have also been at least a title or something...

Not everything requires some reward to be relevant. Hell, I think killing the Pilferer alone is reward enough, it's the equivalent to beating a mini-game with the scaling currency and loot pool. Considering from my hundred of runs GW is more beneficial than killing any boss not named Tho'at I'd say the rewards for killing the scamp are well above the board for what is expected.

I've gotten a LOT of leads from this little guy. He is only up for a short time then he teleports out, so you have to burn him down fast.

You can interrupt him and he stops leaving, great for boss fights when you take Mighty Bash

Yeah, to me it seems that he disappears if the bosses attack touches him and also it seems that sometimes the little pile of GW disappears when the boss does...

I almost never get him. My tanky build has very low DPS.
