What can this improvement be used for? I haven't noticed any difference since I bought it.

It's just a movement speed boost. It used to work in Filer's Wing but does not anymore. If you have movement speed CP then the effect is barely noticeable, but it helps in tentacle pit side area.

I have movement CP and I can't tell the difference with the upgrade at all.

I'm pretty sure it obeys the run speed cap, so if you're already at that or near it it will do little to nothing. It's a really nice upgrade for speedrunning the first couple arcs though.

I find it noticeable when I first port in—it seems to be about 10% (like the red CP star), which helps get out of AoE and stuff.

Movement speed cap is 200%, so it won't put anyone over the cap for running speed, and probably not even for sprinting.

I feel like it's more than 10%, I haven't tested it though.

It's actually pretty easy to hit the speed cap while sprinting. Medium armor, major expedition, and celerity and you're already there. That's why the buff is nice, I can take celerity off for something else, and the red tree if full of good CP for EA.

Is this a permanent buff within the archive or a one time thing? Also wondering for the other buff you can buy, like Sweeter deal or Aramis Training.
