The PVP experience

I haven't played PVP in MONTHS due to performance issues. I figured, you know what, I'm itching for it. Let me make a new build with a new class. OK no big deal.

I got into Grey Host at about 6:45PM on a Wednesday. Ported to Arrius to ride to a fight at BRK.

I get a few yards from entering BRK keep and I crashed. I didn't see a single person yet (though I'm sure there were plenty in there) and a crash to login.

No worries. I'll log back in (quite quickly I might add) and choose the toon and get to the Cyrodiil loading screen. Crashed to login again. Fine. Once more, I'll try. Same deal. Crash in log screen.

Yeah. Screw this.

Don't even get me started about lack of PVP communication or updates since battlegrounds came out.

Whenever I try to submit a ticket about this and send all of my scanning information, I get told that it's my VPN that is the issue and I should consider disabling it so that I can play better. Yeah, sure, fair response, if I used a damn VPN.

Then when I bring that up, I'm told that I'll get transferred to an expert or a more specific crew member, and then either I'm told the same thing. Or my ticket never gets transferred.



IDK what's happening but you folks need to get your priorities in order.

I tried to login now on that same toon after I'd made this forum post, and guess what? I got past the load screen! Only to see that I was kicked out of Cyrodiil.

Freakin' seriously, man. And you wonder why this game gets criticized.

Tell me you have never stepped foot in pvp without tellin me. lol.

It's not a rig or isp issue. I say that as someone on a 4090 with latest cpu on google fiber.

LOL. Every time I see someone post this in reference to ESO and lag I wonder how new the poster is to dealing with ESO and ZOS.

What data could I collect from my end to help show what is going on?

Event Viewer (pc)?

I am curious for myself what is going on. I also have no idea how much load these servers get. Hoping Satya will step in to fix it!

@CrazyKitty I have logged a ticket to ZOS.
And did what they said (router ports, AV etc) and am guess, that is really they can do for an end user standpoint.
The info comes pretty fast. I am guessing if enough people do it, they will get an idea of how many people having the the issue. Part of their ask is send the msinfo (or wha ever system specs you have)
