Veteran players have been alienated and disengaged from Overland since One Tamriel, due to the lack of difficulty, and pushed into dungeons and trials; the minority of content in the Elder Scrolls Online. We can't take the repetition anymore, fix Overland engagement for Vet players. I don't even care if it's not combat related anymore, just make Overland engaging again.

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 10 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. Make a self debuff mythic. Literally anything at this point.0 -

The sales have always been in April for the anniversary, in August for QuakeCon, and December for the holidays. Granted, we're not guaranteed any of them, but there's a definite pattern.12 -

There was a time many years ago, maybe 2016(?) when they did, but I haven’t seen it happen since, and it was on Cyber Monday, not Black Friday.
Crown sales didn’t exactly have a pattern back then.1 -

✭✭Every year, this gets asked even though it's essentially never happened outside of maybe one random time that Tyrant_Tim mentioned (which I don't recall, but I'll bow to their memory on that).
I am not sure why we have a collective amnesia about Crowns going on sale for Black Friday, but they do not. Period.
There is usually a Black Fredas Bundle for sale that's a mount and some rando stuff like potions and XP scrolls, largely unexciting unless you really want whatever mount is the special that year. Plus some store sales on chapters, such as Necrom is discounted right now.
