Why are so-called “connectivity issues” account bound?

I play on two accounts. I use the same client, but I just log out and change account name. I got disconnected on one account and when I tried to log back in I got all the annoying error messages. “Please make sure you have a valid internet connection”, etc.

So I switched to the other account, tried to log in… first try I’m in without a problem. Log back out, switch to the first account… “please make sure you have a valid internet connection”.

Could I suggest to please make sure error messages reflect the actual problem?

    Don't log back in immediately, give it a good 10-15 seconds before attempting to get back on.

    Each attempted connection might use a different route to the server.

    As mentioned earlier in the thread, for some login errors you may need to wait 10-15 minutes for the error to resolve itself.

    Can you please change the error message to reflect that? Perhaps even with a timer? It is very frustrating to, first of all, get disconnected while nothing else with an internet connection has an issue and then to top it off you just get a bunch of random error messages that make no sense. Or, better yet, reduce the timer after disconnection or create a way to force your account out if you get the “already logged in” error.

    @ZOS_Bill - this week there seems to be a new issue. When I play solo or with one other person in the group I have no connection issues. But as soon as I’m in a big group, like for a trial or in Cyrodiil, I can only play for 10-15 mins before getting kicked out of the game with “an unknown error has occurred” and then I can’t log back in for 5-10 mins. It’s extremely frustrating.
