ESO Re-Install Question

I just got a new gaming PC and need to reinstall ESO. Will I lose my control settings?

like keybinds and such? you can copy all of those from the other computer if you can still use it

in the my documents eso-live folder there are 4 things you can copy to basically keep all of your eso config identical

usersettings.txt
addons folder
saved variables folder

there is one other setting file but i dont recall the name off the top of my head (i can update this later this evening with the full list) but if you copy all of those to the same location in the new system, it will keep all of your settings intact for both the game and addons (if you use them)

wanted to follow up on this (almost forgot about it last night cause was doing a bunch of other stuff lol)

the 4 things you copy if you want to retain all settings and addons are:

• UserSettings.txt
• AddOnSettings.txt
• addons folder
• saved variables folder

if you copy all of those it should retain all settings for both the game and addons (i dont 100% remember for sure if keybinds are included but this gets most everything)

i frequently keep these files backed up on a flash drive because i have at least 3 active gaming computers that can play eso so i copy them when i want to re-synchronize settings
