Player to Player trading failing

I tried trading event style pages with a guildmate just a little while ago. We both got the message "trade failed" when trying to open the trade window. Someone else is reporting the same from trying to trade with someone while in a trial. PC/NA
NVM, now I can see the (very low profile) note saying that they disabled player trading a little while ago.
