I've recently moved and had to go from comcast cable to Starlink. Over land stuff, just running around doing whatever is fine. my ping spends more time above 100 than it used to. maybe 20-30ms average higher than cable. I find that in vet trials, however, i get random nasty lag spikes--500-700ms. And a get Disconnected at least once per session (2hrs). This really isn't going to work so i was wondering if there were any settings i could lower to reduce the data in the stream? I don't know if the server sends less data if your video settings are lower or not. I guess if not, then nothing I do will help. But any advice is welcome. The system hasn't changed at all--just the internet connection--but in case anyone wants to know, its a Intel i7-8700K cpu, 16gb ram, 64 bit windoze 10, nividia geforce gtx 1070. the game is loaded on the nvme ssd.
