Better rewards for taking and defending keeps

I just started playing the game again after a long break and while the lag is not that noticable the game seems to mainly consist of groups farming other players with little interest in sieging, I remember when sieging and defending keeps was the main playstile, now its mostly groups running around in circles farming opponents. I miss the old days and would love if the AP reward was at least tripled for taking and defending keeps which would encourage less endless farming of unorginised players and more sieging.

    Yeah. On ps/na there are groups that just sit in that barn outside far. I wont name names but seriously its gotten real old real fast.

    That wouldn’t work. Most ball groups use Discord, and it’s not hard to coordinate two six- or eight-man groups. Besides, I’ve seen optimized four-man groups take out entire zergs.

    When the game released taking a resource gave you a huge 21ap now it's at least 1500ap, this is another issue, the rate at which ap is gained for doing things drives behaviour.

    A radical rethink would not go astray

    That wouldn’t work. Most ball groups use Discord, and it’s not hard to coordinate two six- or eight-man groups. Besides, I’ve seen optimized four-man groups take out entire zergs.

    How big are most ballgroups now? Because if the answer is 12 (even though Max group size used to be bigger,) then I don't know where you're getting the idea that they'd start running two groups as one. Yes, they could. But would they?

    Admittedly it's hard to count the members of a ballgroup. But it seems to me like it's normally 12 people. Even though, as you said, it could be 24 or 50.

    The cross healing and stacked HoT are the biggest issues. Reducing group size won't do it. There has to be a healing nerf and a rather significant one.
