Can’t Mount in Combat…or Hardly Ever.

Not being able to mount in Cyrodiil has severely impaired the functionality of the game. This is something effecting every alliance. Players are running from keep to keep instead of being able to mount and defend or reinforce when needed.

i can mount in cyrodiil unless i was in combat a few seconds ago or am in combat

yes, but i do occasionally group up in cyrodiil. so why do you ask?

I run a full group every night. If even one person walks by a wolf it puts it all in combat. That is an entire group not being able to get to a keep.

then just kill the wolf? it takes a few seconds

I have no idea which of the other 11 ran by it. They could take a different way.

It isn’t about the wolf. If even one member is at a different keep and any combat happens we will all be running.

Most of the time we are waiting on a tic and still in combat.

well that sounds annoying. i havent had that issue in groups when far away from each other.

might be a good idea to have your group stay together.

I’m sorry, but you clearly don’t understand. We play in organized close groups nightly. This a clear bug in the system that stops players from playing as intended.

Not being able to mount in combat is not the issue. We should not be able to mount in combat.

The issue is the bug that keeps us in combat, which can persist even through death and can put us in combat even when there is nothing around that could put us in combat.

That is the issue and what needs to be remedied.

I’m a solo player and I get this bug frequently too.

Combat metrics need to be changed. Even just using siege can get you locked in combat for 10-15 minutes afterward. There is no way for me to make sure I kill every enemy player because I can't even see them at that range.

Besides, you need the option to disengage at times. A simple timer for incoming or outgoing damage is all that is needed. One minute should be sufficient.
