Tales of Tribute Weekly

I'm so happy to see this as an option for a weekly endeavor. However, in my opinion, 9 matches against other players seems a little too time consuming and limiting. Why not let us play the NPCs as well? This would allow our matches to count towards both ToT dallies, and it just gives us more options for how we feel like playing. Sometimes, I just want to relax and play the NPCs, testing out things I haven't tried before. Matches against other players can often be anything but relaxing. Was hoping to have a chill night, getting the weekly done by traveling around and playing NPCs, but :'(

9 player matches is very time consuming, especially when you consider that some players you match with will take up their entire time in a turn.

They should up it to more of ANY match or an option of the current 9 or to gain like 750-1000 rank points (to account for easy difficulty scaling). 750-1000 points can be done over the course of a week since the ToT dailies grant some points as well as points for match completion, but would be painful to do in a day with 1 character.

Considering there’s no penalty for playing and abandoning right away against NPCs I get why they didn’t as that’s just too easy to do. Maybe if they changed it to tot wins they could but I’m sure people would have an issue with that too.

I don’t mind it being the 9 pvp ones tbh. Over course if a week it’s not a huge amount of time and on par with some weekly activities but definitely more than some.

Not to mention that the daily quest is 3 matches.

Playing against NPC's should count, ZOS could even add a safeguard where forfeiting/abandoning doesn't get you a +1 match.

    Greetings,

After further review we have decided to move this thread to a category we think is more appropriate for this topic.

    Thank you for your understanding.

I suspect this is to encourage player engagement in the PF.

technically speaking its doable against human players too

if you figure your wait time is 15 minutes after concede, thats potentially equal to or shorter than the actual match played to completion would have taken, and if you really didnt want to wait, you just change toons and do it again

even just conceding 9 pvp matches could be done in under an hour if you had 9 toons to switch between
