Fog distance increase?

Hi there!


I was just wondering if there is any new mods or addons that allow increase of draw distance and/or increase of fog distance or has anyone read or jheard any plans to increase it by the actual developers?

Its just that the fog always seems like a wall on my nose with the maximum official drawing distance support

There is a...Reshade mod? Might be the right thing to call it, that removes the in-game fog entirely called Daybreak. Does make area's look nicer, but it does mean you will be able to see the very low quality textured stuff such as moutains out of bounds of the actual map, and in smaller zones such as Gold Coast, you can *very* clearly see the skybox textures and where it is misaligned on the corners of the box.

Of course it's to be expected since the fog is meant to hide these things, but it's easily ignorable and fine to deal with. Just don't actively look at them or for it, and enjoy the much more opened sights, such as seeing Red Mountain all the way from Vivec City!

I think i used that once too and it has some quirks like the skybox and i also remember looking at summerset isles long before the actual chapter and it was nice and funny to see all that area still empty and without any plantlife or Aanythingg like that. The LOD looks awful, but as you said, its not meeant to be seen currently but to know it was there from the beginning made me hope they would improve stuff over time
Would be awesome screenshots to look for a place with furthjest wiev and stuff löike that

I think there wwas also one that made the fog thinner, bnuat the time it made the game crash a lot which though, would made it real TES game

There’s a newer one on esoui.com that i use. I forget what it’s called. (It’s not Daybreak.) Try searching on there for “fog” maybe?
