How to turn off the new companion rejoin group after using an assistant?

As per title - is this possible?
I use assistants when I want to turn off companions so this change is very unwanted.

✭✭you can't turn off the function, I would put your companions on your radial wheel and dismiss them that waySoupy twist1 -

I’ll just stop using companions, gives more spaces back to assistants on the radial wheel.

✭✭✭✭✭ive always just summoned the companions from the collection menu since im not switching them frequently and they have that nonsense 10 sec summon timeplays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them
