Ok what's up with someone listing 7 chromium at $4.3M each? 30M.

Does this not have to be a form of RWT. Sellers are struggling to keep plating above 400k. Everyone I know waiting for U40 to gold up new jewelry. They are going ahead and glyphing it up but waiting.

Oh but that's right. A poster on forums threatened to sell an apple for $20M gold and nothing was said.

If you think this might be dodgy (and yes, I can see why you would) report using a ticket perhaps.

There are lots of people who still think prices will greatly increase. On the day of the stream people immediately listed one Chromium grain for 450k+. So if you multiply by 10, you get 4.5 million for 1 plating.

Like the poster above said, it's Hanlon's Razor.

The prices for chromium plating seems to be tanking and fast on PC EU.

Was around 240k, now under 190k in just a few days.

It's tanking on PCNA too. I:ve seen it as low as 250k which is down from 460-480k.

I think it's a good thing because prices and inflation are ridiculous. It's great to see the plating market crash and burn which will eventually ripple out across other markets and make upgrading more accessible for all players not just the rich. Deflation is long overdue especially on PCNA.

If you wanted to donate to guild, you would do just that. ZOS gets half the listing fee. So NO, that wouldn't be likely. I've seen this where gold sellers use this method.

At least for me game remember listing price then listing similar items. Might be an mod thing but sounds like this is on PC.

I regularly see players post grains at the price of full platings, refined materials at the price of raw materials, and stacks of 20 at the price a stack of 200 would sell.

They're all hoping that somebody misclicks on them and buys something at insane prices.

You can always contact their guild leader too and have them investigate. Most trade guild leaders keep extensive records.

There is an easy fix for this kind of overpricing. The game designers could just let npc's sell the materials at a fixed price. How high that fixed price should be is to be agreed upon: the higher it is the more ppl can still profit by selling materials themselves, but at least there would be a cap on the price.

or maybe they wanted to add it for 430k based on historical pricing (before announcement was made about chromium) and added some digits by accident? or maybe they figured the price would go up due to the announcement being that they would be able to upgrade 10 items? Perhaps they're trying to manipulate the market value by listing for the highest price, and raising the average cost through the third party application you're looking at?

complaining about someone overpricing their goods when others are available, and likely only because you saw it on a website that compiles all traders for your convenience, is laughable. You could easily choose to complain about the person listing Dreugh wax for 450k each, or the person trying to list tempering alloy for 500k each, but you chose to complain about Chromium Plating.

And no this isn't RMT, if they wanted to RMT they'd do it with lower value items and in a guild that doesn't have people with the TTC application constantly uploading their guild trader's listings to a third party website.

4.3 mil each? it sounds like they had an extra 0 when they listed it lol

they were probably aiming for 430k and oops, they just lost a ton in listing fees

Listing fees go into the ether, not to the guild. Only sales taxes (half of them) go to the guild.

This is not Socialism Simulator 2.0, this is ESO with a free market. People are allowed to list thir items for whatever they want and if their prices are too high, noone will buy thir wares.
As soon as a game would cap prices, we might as well just delete the entire economy and just sell everything to NPCs.

there is a fix already in place. Don't purchase. Let the market dictate price, no cap needed.

Some items sell for ridiculous prices. Most do not. I expect 4M instead of 400K being just accidental extra 0 when listing the first item and the rest were just quickly listed with same price without noticing. Honest and expensive mistake and not like listing a Haoko on price of Hakeijo for example.

That is not an easy fix, deciding a fixed price for things like this takes more work for ZOS than just letting the players decide what they want to pay for it. High prices items are not an issue, other players just ignore the those items and buy the reasonably prices ones instead.
