Tribunal Window lead

So I got the first lead and didn't really notice until I dug it up how nice a furnishing it is... I went to look for the lead location and most sources say just about anything anywhere in the Telvani Peninsula. Hmm. I have been tooling around there now for days and haven't seen a second lead. Any suggestions?

I've gotten several of these. If I remember correctly I think most came from delve and public dungeon bosses. It can drop in Apocrypha, too.

i think ive gotten this lead like 6 or 7 times now lol

it generally drops from anything in apocrypha or telvanni peninsula

Yeah I've gotten 3 now, all from Gorne. All from mini-bosses.

Now at least I can buy it... But I don't think I'll be adding it to my lead farming list... ;-)

I got my third lead for this from a delve boss in Apocrypha yesterday.

I can't remember where I got the other two, but they came pretty close together.

i think i am on lead 5 or 6 now of this. it drops pretty regularly. i never do BN so i am positive i did not get them from there.

I have 6 so far and all leads came from stealing (urns) in Necrom.

I just got a lead for the window today from a Telvanni treasure map. It is a really nice furnishing!

I was actively using maps tying to hunt the Cliff Strider anatomy model lead, really need that one for my antiquarian-type character's home. Has anyone had that drop for them yet?

I've gotten 10 so far and I've used 8 of those in my houses.

Yeah I have now gotten 4, but since I've been using Gorne to level Sharp it still doesn't feel like a lot to me. Still that's enough to be able to buy it.

It does look nice, it's a good size and I like the color combination.

I got the lead a week or so ago, been farming it since killing mobs in televanni and apocrypha, killing bosses in gorne for a few hours, all the quests, delve bosses, world bosses and have not seen it drop again.

Three days now farming televanni and apocropha, gorne, delve bosses...still not seeing it drop again. There must be some other prerequisite for it to drop.

The quirks of RNG — I get the Tribunal window leads from harvesting I think, or completely minor enemies. As soon as I dig up one, I get another soon after. Now Telvanni Peninsula treasure maps and a second mushroom book, I’ve not seen either of those since the Necrom event!

Looting thieves chests and every regular mob I can see and still nothing. My play sessions are not small, usually 8 to 10 hours.

And this is three days from my orignal post, not the days I have been farming this before. RNG is RNG, but this is beyond RNG. When much much more rare drops are being farmed and a not so rare drop wont drop....it means something else is borked.

EDIT: I even scryed and dug up every lead I get in the two zones. Including the green and blue three times to finish the log. Just to make sure the drop is not being gated by something else.

Maybe something is bugged with your account? Or getting the lead the second time takes longest for whatever reason? (I’ve read anecdotal accounts of this regarding the EA leads.)

I have scried for the Telvanni Peninsula green, blue, and purple leads but I don’t think three times each (of course the purple is only available once). I don’t think it matters, but I’ve been getting leads and scrying leads on different characters because I have only one max level antiquarian and several others at different levels.

One lead I’ve been trying to get a second of for a looong time without success is the Echoes of Aldmeris painting.

I wonder if the number of characters that have max level scrying and excavation has anything to do with this. I have 7 characters that are max level in both of these and I've gotten about 12 or more so far without farming for any of them.

Maybe, I only have 2 out of 6 that are max and I think I have gotten 5 or 6 now. I spent a lot of time leveling Sharp and Azander so I don't think that's really a lot.

ya, this is getting old. I just want to move on decorating my house.

I am going to just use the deadlands achieve one. Spending 30+ hours farming a basic furnishing lead has gone from fun to frustrating....its not worth my time.

Maybe if I go buy some crowns it will drop....

I have exactly one character with max level scrying and excavation. The next highest can scry for purple leads and just unlocked glowing treasure chests (so level 7 I think). The few other characters I have scrying unlocked on are still at the green/blue stage.

Well I also completed the zone on 6 of my 7 characters, too so was doing a lot of combat there and just kept finding them.

In case people haven't realised yet: once you have a furnishing lead x3 it unlocks in the Blackwood store to buy with coins. Includ Tribunal window, mushroom book, ship etc.

Thanks to this thread! I needed another lead of this window active so that treasure maps won't be wasted on it.

It's annoying that they are even in the loot table for those, when things that you have to get 3 EACH of, THREE TIMES (Apocryphal Well) only drop from those maps, which drop rarely and still go for 35k+ on the traders.

My last window lead expired so I've been puttering around in TP farming nodes and mobs for days. Then tried Gorne thanks to the recommendation here and got it instantly. It's still RNG but whatever, it worked.
