Every single random normal or vet I've done has been fine. I've been playing some underleveled toons so have needed the quest almost ever single random normal, I say so, and people are chill. We even did Fungal grotto 1 without people skipping.

There's been some questionable moments on random vets, with people not knowing mechs or not having a lot of damage but we've been able to limp through.
If you find things difficult, perhaps some introspection is called for.

Unpopular opinion: like it or not the overwhelming majority of people running dungeons right now are speed running them for loot. If you dont want to you should really really consider just asking the group instead of expecting them to ask.

Ps i do this event with premades. Im just being real to all the upset puggers

Event has been fine, doing random dungeons one after the other. So many dungeons, so little time.

OP, sorry to hear the event isn't working out for you. Maybe you will like the next event!

I haven't failed to get a dungeon done yet. While there has been some issues, nothing that would make me feel the entire event should be scrapped.

It's been fine for me, too, but I prefer to so dungeons.

The downside is that there are a lot of dungeons I can't solo, and I can't solo dungeons in vet mode, so I can't get any monster masks or monster mask style pages.

But the upside is that I can procede through the dungeons at my own pace, and have plenty of opportunity to become familiar with the dungeons that I'm able to solo.

Actually much to my surprise so far it's been great. Other than multiples of FG1 the groups are interesting and pugs run smoothly. Some fakes, but honestly fewer than usual.

I will say having run 6 or seven pugs a day since the event started I've only gotten one key... But that's pretty minor considering how wonderful it's been to do that many dungeons without a single speed runner.

Interesting, I have several guilds that are all avoiding non-guild RNDs until the event is done as they can't stomach the devil-take-the-hindmost runahead mentality.

You do randoms it it like a box of chocolates you don't know what you will get. Join a guild or just deal with the pugs. I had one did so horribly I quit then re-queued. The event has been running smooth just only one problem group. I enjoy getting the boxes and it is a big help in getting additional gear drops. At least gear is dropping better.

Yes, I've been enjoying the extra gear drops. The other night I even got a piece of uncollected dungeon gear from a simple chest, which was a pleasant surprise.

If randoms are your regular go to, maybe take a break from them while the event is running.

I'm running 7 or 8 a day, on different characters for the transmutes, and finding most of them pretty good. My only complaint is the speed runner not caring about anyone else.

Another nice example of an entitled hypocrit, which believes, other players are just around to serve them and obliege to their expectations. You did very right to kick them and deny them an undeserved reward.

Aside your naming-and-shaming chatshot, there's no proof of anything in your post other than you were presumably in a group with the OP while running a dungeon. All your chatshot shows is that the OP was trying to be friendly and greet the group at the start of the dungeon.

I was actually inclined to be unsympathetic toward the OP when they suggested that the first response was from a "stooge."

But after reading your naming-and-shaming post and all of the pats on the back you're getting for it, I'm actually inclined to be sympathetic toward the OP, so good work at changing my opinion of them.

And if you ask me, waiting until you get to the final boss to vote-kick a group member smells like pure spite. Did you say one word to the OP during the dungeon to indicate that-- in your opinion-- they weren't helping? The only word I see from anyone else that I see in your chatshot is "sup," and if anyone had said anything critical toward the OP about their contributions, or lack of same, I suspect you would have included it to support your accusations, but there's nothing.

It was in Icereach and I gave them the benefit of the doubt at the start and maybe just needed to get it out of their system. So AFK on first boss if they're annoyed, sure just sulking AFK. Second, still AFK is a bit concerning. 3,4 and maybe even 5 idk how many bosses it has off by heart, still AFK and just looting boss.

And maybe I just wanted to respond to pettiness with pettiness. You want to waste 3 other people's time and get a free ride? Just before we got to last boss I called the vote. Bare in mind - AFAIK - we were 3 solo players and everyone voted to kick them. One person voting no would have let them enjoy their free loot.
