Archaeology tips/clue: are they account wide or only on discovering toon?

Howdy! Are the archaeology tips/clues available account-wide when discovered or only on the toon that found them?

Account wide. Anyone can scry/dig them. Even two different characters, one to scry, one to dig.

What TaSheen said! Also, love yourself and never level up scrying on more than one toon! (Or do if that's your jam, but gosh, it can be a slog even the first go around.)

*laughing* I actually level antiquities on every character (and no, you probably don't WANT to know how many....) I love the skill line, I love getting every alt out to scry and dig and get wayshrines, skyshards, explore.

Of course.... I'm retired, so i have unlimited time....

Not on every character but shiny chests are very nice when soloing dungeons for gear.

I don't get the whole scrying thing. I mean, to level it you need to do some puzzling, and then eventually you're rewarded with 100% fail proof scrying tools. I mean, why might as well skip the scrying stage completely, or do add an 'auto-scry' option once you've leveled it up.
