this new QOL can't exit trial is BUGGY and SO messed up. Please restore the leave instance while in combat mode.

    You aren't meant to leave while in combat mode... if you're done with the trial then you can leave group and exit instance. If you are part of a premade then surely someone can re-invite you afterwards. this is much better than the exploited alternative. But I do think there should be more out of combat checks, such as if you haven't taken a hit in 30 seconds or something that's reasonable to be able to leave an instance/mount up/etc.

    Got stuck in combat mode in NRG. Caused WAY too many issues trying to progress. Leaving group did not clear combat mode for group (no mobs) had some mobs from the beginning stuck in the wall but even killing them didn't clear combat mode. Having a check to verify combat mode would be very helpful (30 secs seems fine). Not being able to leave trial while in a stuck combat mode is very highly extremely frustrating.

    If the content is so important that a global irritation has to be implemented to all players just to stop 0.0001% gaining a minor advantage then maybe zos could fix the bugs that are hindering progress.
    But they can't seem to do that, judging be the bugs that have remained in the same content for year upon year.

    The feature of being able to leave instance, even when in combat mode has been a lifesaver for me, because there are way to many times where the combat mode isn't clearing as it should. ZOS focused on the wrong thing. Instead of working on the combat mode timer or distance they focused on the exploiters. An exploit i never even thought could happen. Now what they should do instead of killing PTE, is if you leave instance while in trial it counts and a death and you lose that 15000 thingy bonus. That is much easier to program than preventing PTE. And it kills the exploit without harming the innocents.

    I'm a console player so it hasn't released on our servers just yet but I'm still clueless as to why they implemented this change in the first place. It's such a step back in QoL for an update that was centered around bug fixes and QoL.

    I "get" that they did this to stop maybe 100 players in total cheese leaderboard scores but if that's the case why didn't they just make it that when you leave instance your vitality drops to deter such behaviour? Literally none of those players who were abusing this would've done it then. If the bugs are going to remain unfixed (they shouldn't) then you need to leave the main way players are using to get around them. It's nonsensical.

    It's made certain interactions extremely annoying such as the end of Volenfell or literally any time you're stuck in combat, not to mention any mob that glitches through the wall and is unkillable, alongside more niche interactions such as getting knocked off the cliff or into the wall in Sunspire and being unresurrectable. Literally every time any of these things happen leaving instance was such a useful tool to get around them.
