Using emotes while in combat should be a thing in eso. It is a thing in world of warcraft and in guild wars 2. Getting in combat should not interupt current emote animations to a stop. Even when in a group.

Imagine dance fighting the dungeon boss or using trumpet solo to annoy enemies. Using any emote /. Honestly this game needs more silliness and fun stuff.

World of warcraft has a selfie camera option along with free camera (in the in-game settings and or special keybinds) that any emotes can be used too. Guild wars 2 has something like that. Character looks like she or he is taking a selfi (while dancing or any other emote animation) when in the background there is a scary dungeon boss or groups of monsters chasing the tank or other players. That will be a very funny screenshot.

pretty sure you can use an emote while in combat, as long as you arent actively taking dmg

how do you think people in cyro use emotes to "emote taunt" someones body?

I noticed sometimes when I'm emoting (not in combat) that if someone heals me or applies some effect to me that it takes me out of my emote as well.
