I keep getting errors that I don’t have enough space to download update 39. I have 172 GB of free space on my install SSD. What’s going on ESO? How do I resolve this?

You should always have roughly 2x the available amount of space for a game you're downloading so that it has space to move files around during installation. 172GB is not enough because this game is over 120GB large. At least that's how I've been taught, ESO's initial install for instance uses some kind of transfer with the launcher I think to a new folder, moving all 120gb of data

This reminds me that I have 6 million gold that I can't transfer to my Xbox and can't access due to the lack of space on my PC.

One day I'll get a new bigger laptop.

How about a new hard drive with larger capacity instead of getting a whole new computer.

There were....other problems. Something to do with electrics. I'm afraid it would burn out any new SSD

I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. It wasn’t an “insufficient space” problem. It was clearly an issue/bug with the launcher. Shame support didn’t provide any help.

Were you able to resolve this issue after uninstalling and reinstalling ESO?
