Did They Just Break Password Managers?

Anyone else use a password manager to log in to ESO? I do. It lets me use long, random passwords that would take years to hack. As of today's update, password managers cannot auto-type into the user and password fields any more. This is going to discourage people from using a password manager, which means less secure ESO game accounts. Please fix this!

I've never been able to use mine to directly input my password into ESO (non-steam).

Don't know if it was a limitation of the one I use, or if I just never got it set up, but I'd just copy paste it over (which I know leaves me open to accidentally pasting it elsewhere)

You're too worried about brute forcing techniques which don't even work and people targeting your account specifically. You don't need passwords that would take billions of years to crack with quantum computers, anything automatically inputting things into username/password field should also not be allowed, for the same reason you said, it will make accounts MORE secure because people can't brute force using that method.
