Thukhozod's Sanctum: A Lost Opportunity

So I just finished doing the Wrothgar delve "Thukhozod's Sanctum" as well as the associated quest, and I found it's story very compelling. I just feel like ZOS missed out on an opportunity to make the world a bit more interactive for the player.

In short, the story of the sanctum is that supposedly Thukhozod the Eternal dwells there, an immortal orc necromancer feared throughout Wrothgar. But in reality Thukhozod isn't one necromancer, but a long series of necromancers passing on the name/identity to their descendants. By assuming the powers of Thukhozod you continue the legend and also grant yourself power over the sanctum, making the skeletons/zombies your minions.

In the quest another necromancer finds the sanctum, and kills the current "Thukhozod", taking his power and assuming control of the sanctum and its minions like all the previous Thukhozod's did (except he refuses to adopt the name and keeps his old one).

What I think would've been cool is if when you defeat the impostor Thukhozod during the quest you have the option to interact with a magical brazier or something and "become" the new Thukhozod. I'm not talking about granting the player actual powers or anything, but just making all the enemies of the delve neutral to you (yellow health bar). This would've been a small flavour thing that's pretty cool and would've had zero impact on the rest of the gameplay. It also gives the player a lot of agency in the quest, especially those of us roleplaying morally questionable characters. And of course it would've been a nice roleplay area to lurk around in if you want to feel like an evil necromancer in your lair surrounded by minions.

Obviously ZOS won't go back and change this quest/delve, but this is more a "for future reference" thing. Harmless flavour things like this don't affect gameplay but make the world feel a lot more real and interactable. I love it when my choices in a quest have an actual effect on NPCs and the world around me beyond the occasional comment from a guard about how I killed X/Y/Z bad guy in a questline.
