GROUND skills still bouncing up onto roofs

This might have been a one off "bug" but I was on Alessia bridge on the very top and EP on their side at Sej and someone managed to hit me with Warden Shalks while I was on the roof ( no one was on top or at the steps )

I know you can send ground AOE on top of keeps if you can find the correct location so maybe this is what happened

This has been in the game since the beginning, ground casts seek the 'floor' if the player is standing in the air above it. So on certain structures if players position themselves so that there is no floor at their own level it will drop the ability down to the next available floor.

Works in areas such as the oil grids, all ledges on keep walls etc.

I know you can do it from on top to the bottom with Wall of Elements, hell they use to be able to run around keep walls on the bottom and WOE would reach you above but they eventually fix it

This was a slightly different issue, the height of certain ground abilities wasn't constrained so that they hit multiple levels. This was resolved so that it could no longer hit multiple levels (I didn't test anything for a long time now so idk if this is still the case) the casting mechanics have always acted this way though and is seemingly expected to work like this.
